Sagada is a part of the Mountain Province. This place is known for its magnificent view of rice terraces and cool weather. It is also ideal for sunrise watching.
Sagada is the ultimate chill place. The weather is very nice because of the cool wind. The downside, however, is the hardness of taking a shower. This is because the weather is cold. The hot water coming from the shower could still make someone shiver. This should not be taken as a major problem because the sites to be seen there are astounding.
Sagada is known for its hanging coffins. This is because of the culture of the indigenous people of the place. Long before the Philippines was colonized by the Spaniards, the indigenous people of Sagada practiced the use of hanging coffins in a high place because they believe that the highplace where the coffins are hung would lead their dead loved ones closer to heaven.
